Most apps on the market maintain an artificial separation between tasks and associated meetings, leading to complications and diverging workflows. Temporal aims to bring together all required context to enable strong task collaboration while maintaining a sense of clarity and structure.
The logo mark is an expressive fusion of calendar and notebook, symbolizing the value proposition of the app.
The design process focused on minimizing clicks while maximizing functionality.
Exploration
Various layouts were explored for the task view, from single sheets to multi-layer flows. Finding the right balance of detail and progressive disclosure was crucial.
After gathering feedback, I narrowed in on solutions that prioritized high-level clarity over high specificity, for example finding an available time slot for a meeting.
